See our design team at work in this exclusive behind-the-scenes tour.
Join us for a Behind the Scenes tour led by curator of the museum’s Conservation Lab. Usually off limits to the public - the lab is where museum magic happens. Objects from the collections are researched, documented and lovingly conserved to museum standards before going on display. We’ll talk about the challenging area of shipwreck conservation, as well as other projects happening around the lab. Come armed with lots of questions about museum practice and your own treasures for our specialist conservators.
Date: Thursday 11 May 2017, 2–4pm
Cost: Members Free, Non-members $20
This tour will be held at the museum's Wharf 7 Heritage Centre.
