  • Saltwater Sunday - NAIDOC week celebration
    8 July 10am – 4pm 

    Join in a day of creative cultural activities for all ages as we celebrate NAIDOC week at the museum. 

    Enjoy lively performances, artmaking activities, face painting, activity trails, storytelling, and book in for a harbour cruise with Tribal Warrior.

    Take a Saltwater Kids Trail through our award winning Gapu Monuk exhibition

    10am – 4pm

    Get creative at Kids on Deck with artmaking, games and dress ups

    10.30am – 3.30pm

    Enjoy Face painting, temporary tattoos and NAIDOC week badge making

    11am- 12pm and 2pm – 3pm

    Touch and explore the Cabinet of Curiosities- Saltwater Stories

    11.30am, 12.30pm, 1.30pm

    Join a drop in weaving workshop with Peta-joy Williams

    12.15pm, 1.15pm, 2.30pm

    Join Freds Bush tucker for a demonstration and tasting

    Tribal Warrior Aboringal Corporation

    Cruise the harbour aboard the Mari Nawi (Big Canoe) to Be-lang-le-wool (Clark island) while enjoying stories of the Cadigal, Guringai, Wangal, Gammeraigal and Wallumedegal people of Sydney Harbour.
