    Cruise & Workshop: Shipwrecks, Corrosion and Conservation

    Join ANMM educators on a tour and workshop all about conserving Australia's submerged cultural heritage. Then take a cruise around Sydney harbour to Watson's Bay.

    After the cruise, enjoy expert commentary from Dr James Hunter on local maritime archaeology as we take a walk to the Hornby Lighthouse at South Head opposite the wreck of the Dunbar.

    Join senior Maritime Museum curator Daina Fletcher on a fascinating tour of the fine-art foundry Australian Bronze at Sydney’s historic North Head.

    Meet artist Belinda Villani and director Clive Calder to hear about the beautiful, centuries-old 'lost wax' technique and see models and casts illustrating the process.A highlight will be a preview of a major bronze work dedicated to windjammer sailors, to be installed at the museum.

    Walking Tour & Lunch: A Walk Through Pyrmont History

    Join Museum staff to explore the history of early Pyrmont and discover - through the use of photographs - Pyrmont's past. Hear about previous occupations and trades that have come and gone and gain an understanding of conservation and heritage issues.

    Then it's off to Doyle's at the Fish Markets for lunch.
