|Ferry||Sydney Ferries' services to Pyrmont Bay Wharf depart from Circular Quay Wharf 5 about every half an hour.

|Historic Shuttle||One means of getting to the museum is a shuttle service from Circular Quay - Commissioners Steps. Operating a classic timber vessel built in 1927, the shuttle offers an insight into days past on Sydney Harbour. The ferry operates constantly from 9.00 AM to 5.00 PM, seven days per week.|

|Drive||Discount parking is available at Harbourside Secure Carpark, 100 Murray Street, Pyrmont. T: (02) 9692 0627), a 5-minute walk from the museum. Present your parking ticket at the museum foyer ticket desk for validation. Parking for the day costs $13. Parking is also available at Star City Casino, a five-minute walk to the museum. There is limited metered street parking near the museum.|
